Nokia 9 PureView was officially launched at the event organized in Barcelona on Sunday during MWC 2019. The talk of this smartphone was taking place over the last few days. Its features and riders came out on several occasions. However, the company has made an official launch while pausing all the discussions. The most striking thing about this smartphone is that there are 5 cameras in its rear. The company has told the camera of this smartphone as the most advanced camera given on any phone. Not only this, 5 cameras have been provided, but the Kaward glass design and the flagship level snapdragon 845 processor has also been given.
Overview of Nokia 9 PureView
Starting with the imaging capabilities of the phone, Nokia 9 PureView's camera system has been developed in partnership with Lite. HMD Global has also worked with Qualcomm and Google to fully utilize the Snapdragon 845 SoC power and optimize the camera setup for Google's photo app to work well. The phone has five rear cameras with Xs certified lenses, which are connected to three 12-megapixel monochrome sensors and two 12-megapixel RGB sensors. Each of these cameras is triggered when a person takes a shot and then the phone fuses simultaneously to create these same images. The front has a 20-megapixel selfie shooter.
Among other features, the phone has 5.99-inch quad-HD + (1440×2960 pixels) poled screen with 18.5: 9 aspect ratios and in-display fingerprint sensor. Nokia 9 has 6GB of RAM, 128GB inbuilt storage and 3,320mAh of battery with wireless charging support. In addition, the company has included connectivity options such as Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.0 and NFC. Nokia PureView is also certified for IP67 water and dust resistance and packs a USB Type-C port. Although there is no 3.5mm audio jack.
Nokia 9 PureView price and availability
Nokia 9 PureView has been launched in USD 699 (about Rs 50,000). This smartphone will be made available in select markets from March. At present, the company has not said anything about its availability in India. The thing to note is that it has been launched at a similar price to the Nokia 8 Sirocco, launched last year. Nokia 8 Sirocco was launched in India last year at Rs 49,999. In such a situation, it is expected that in India, it can be sold only in the price around this.
