    An organization is a place where many groups of people work together to achieve a common goal. Each group performs their tasks, and collectively the organization delivers the final result. The different organizations use different means of communication. Usually, the communication system depends upon the size of the organization. There are different types of organizational communication methods. Small organizations use face-to-face communication and phone systems for large business. Australian companies are well known for keeping an exceptional communication system. Some companies in cities like New South Wales provide the best in class reliable communication systems for all types of companies.

    Some organizations use other communication methods like written letters, printed notices, emails, etc. Phone systems for large businesses are the best method for organizations that have a large number of employees. Because sending emails or written letters to each person is time-consuming and may not be effective as a personal conversation over the phone. An independent phone system inside a business makes it easy to contact any employee at the press of a button. Giving direction by verbal command is the most effective way. It also helps the employee to clear the doubts at the same time.

    Importance of organizational communication systems

    • Encouraging employees toward the organizational goal

    There are different benefits to organizational communication. Employees may be hard working. Directing all hard work towards the collective primary goal of the company is necessary. Communication plays a significant role in this. Communication between departments and employees will keep track of the work. It will help in better management of time and will give maximum productivity. Even though many employees work towards an organizational goal, some may work towards some personal goal. This kind of mentality may not benefit the company and can affect overall productivity. To manage such employees and direct them towards the overall aim, we need effective communication with managers and employees.

    • Increasing employee engagement

    Active and engaging employees are the backbone of any institution. Workload and other social stress affect employees a lot. Such a situation will affect employee productivity. The tensions and pressure will result in less engagement. For encouraging such workers, interpersonal communication inside the company will help. Occasional motivation and encouragement from other authorities are also important. For large companies, personal face to face communication might not be possible.

    For overcoming this problem, private communication methods like phone calls, emails, etc., can be helpful. Such encouragement will result in more engagement from the employee, which results in better overall production.

    • A better understanding of work and employee feedback

    For every organization, the way the employee understands the work is crucial. Most companies will explain new projects and work and the beginning of the project by gathering all employees in a conference hall. But such mass gatherings may make asking doubts and clarifications about the task difficult. So giving a way to communicate between others and higher authorities will help employees understand the work with more depth. If managers or other higher officials find employees are not clear about the work, personal communication methods can help to bring employees back on track.

    Employee feedback is vital for any organization. Giving way of personal communication will help employees to present their opinion and ideas to the authorities. Some skilled workers will have better solutions for a problem, so giving a direct communication line to workers may benefit the company. This culture will also improve the trust towards management, and employees will give their maximum effort towards the work.

    • Improved crisis management

    A reliable communication system can save companies from any crisis. For example, many manufacturing units will have advanced complex machinery. If any complications arise during the operation, fast and reliable communication can help to handle the situation smoothly. Also, if any emergency occurs, the communication system can let others know about the condition, and authorities can give necessary instructions. So an effective communication system inside the organization can ultimately save many lives.
